Risk Disclosure

Important information about the risks of futures trading and participation in Ascension Funding evaluation and funded programs.

Last updated: June 11, 2026

1. Read this carefully

Trading futures and other leveraged derivatives involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every person. You should carefully consider whether participating in an Ascension Funding evaluation or funded program is appropriate in light of your financial situation, experience, and risk tolerance.

This disclosure supplements—not replaces—our Terms of Service. By using our Services, you acknowledge that you understand and accept these risks.

2. You can lose money

Futures trading can result in losses that exceed deposits or fees paid in some circumstances, particularly when using leverage, holding positions through volatile periods, or trading illiquid markets.

Evaluation fees, data fees, platform fees, and other charges are real costs regardless of trading performance. Passing an evaluation or receiving a funded account does not guarantee future profitability or payouts.

3. Simulated and evaluation accounts

Evaluation accounts are typically operated in simulated or test environments provided through third-party infrastructure (such as Rithmic Test or similar programs). Simulated results may differ from live trading due to fills, latency, liquidity, slippage, emotional factors, and market conditions.

Performance during an evaluation is not indicative of future results in a funded phase or in personal live accounts.

4. Leverage and volatility

Futures contracts are leveraged instruments. Small market moves can produce disproportionately large gains or losses relative to margin posted. Volatility can increase suddenly around economic releases, geopolitical events, and low-liquidity sessions.

5. Program rules and automatic enforcement

Ascension programs include strict risk rules such as daily loss limits, maximum drawdown, position limits, and minimum trading-day requirements. Automated risk systems may liquidate positions, lock accounts, or terminate access immediately when limits are breached.

Rule breaches can occur without warning and may result in loss of evaluation progress, funded status, or eligibility for payouts without refund of fees.

6. Technology and third-party dependency

Trading depends on execution platforms, market-data feeds, internet connectivity, and cloud services. Outages, delays, incorrect displays, or synchronization gaps between a dashboard and the execution platform can occur. You are responsible for monitoring your accounts on authoritative trading platforms.

7. No investment advice

Ascension Funding does not provide investment, financial, tax, or legal advice. Educational content, dashboards, and marketing materials are for general information only. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions.

8. Regulatory status

Ascension Funding is not a registered broker-dealer, futures commission merchant, investment adviser, or bank. Customer funds for evaluations are program fees for access to services, not bank deposits, and are not FDIC insured.

You remain subject to applicable exchange, clearing member, and platform rules when trading through supported integrations.

9. Hypothetical and past performance

Any examples, testimonials, or performance illustrations on our site are for illustrative purposes unless explicitly labeled as actual audited results. Past performance—whether actual or simulated—is not a guarantee of future results.

10. Affiliate and marketing content

Third-party affiliates may promote our programs. Their statements do not bind Ascension unless we publish them officially. Evaluate all claims against our published rules and this disclosure.

11. Your acknowledgment

By purchasing an evaluation, connecting a platform, or placing trades through an Ascension-provisioned account, you confirm that you have read this Risk Disclosure, understand that trading involves significant risk, and accept full responsibility for your trading activity and outcomes.
